A chemical peel can:

For best results, it is advisable to avoid sun exposure and the following products and procedures at least one week prior to your treatment:
- Electrolysis
- Waxing
- Depilatory creams
- Laser hair removal
Use of the following products should be avoided 2-3 days prior to your Chemical Peel:
- Any exfoliating products
- Any products that may be drying or irritating, including products containing salicylic acid, AHA (including Glycoic acids) and products containing Vitamin A or retinol
- Shaving of the area to be peeled should be avoided on the day of the treatment.

From start to finish, the entire procedure should take approximately 20 minutes.

Who is not a good candidate for a chemical peel?
Patients who should avoid the Chemical Peel include:
- Patients with a history of allergies, rashes or other skin reactions or anyone with an allergy to salicylates (i.e. ASPIRIN)
- Patients who have taken Accutane within the past year, or received chemotherapy or radiation therapy
- Pregnant or breastfeeding (lactating) women
- Patients under the age of 12

Micropeel
- Glycolic acid-based peel
- Helps reduce the primary signs of photoaging (fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, and visible skin imperfections)
- Three-step clinical procedure combining an exfoliation, a peel solution and a soothing Vitamin C masque.
- Recommended in a series of 4 to 6 treatments
- Optimal results when followed by a maintenance treatment with Retexturing Activator.
Micropeel Plus
- Salicylic acid-based peel
- Helps the look of acne-prone skin
- One-step clinical procedure of chemical exfoliation
- Recommended in a series of 4 to 6 treatments
- Optimal results when followed by a maintenance treatment using Retinol twice a week at night.
