Hyaluronic Acid, a component of normal youthful skin, contributes to the skin's natural elasticity, producing a vibrant, healthy appearance. Unfortunately, this substance is depleted by the aging process and deep lines, particularly along the sides of the nose and the corners of the mouth, appear as a result. This depletion can also cause lips to lose their structure and volume. It can also be used for depressed facial scars. We inject a safe synthetic form of Hyaluronic Acid, which temporarily fills out problem lines and wrinkles from underneath.

How it works

The Hyaluronic Acid is injected just under the top layer of the skin where it binds to water found in the skin and improves the turgor, or rigidity in the injected area.

What to expect

Fillers are placed under the skin in specific areas through a number of tiny injections. A healthy, more youthful appearance will be noticed almost immediately after the treatment which takes approximately 30 minutes. No anaesthetic is necessary for wrinkle treatments but a mild anaesthetic may be used for lip enhancements. Some swelling, itching or redness may occur but will typically disappear within the first two days. Effects from the treatment can last anywhere from six to 12 months.
