WHAT/WHERE IS THE G-SPOT?
The Grafenberg spot, or G-spot, as is it commonly referred to is an area of concentrated nerve endings in the vagina. It is located an inch or two inside the vagina, on the anterior surface behind the pubic bone. This area consists of erectile tissue which swells with increased blood flow during arousal. The G-spot is about the size of a quarter and the overlying vaginal tissue may feel a little rougher here than the surrounding area.
G-SPOT REJUVENATION
G-spot rejuvenation is a simple office procedure whereby a cosmetic filler (hyaluronic acid gel) is injected under local anaesthesia into the area of the G-spot.
The procedure expands the tissues overlying the G-spot making it more pronounced and accessible to stimulation during sexual penetration.
THE PROCEDURE
Following signed consent; the patient, dressed in a gown, is positioned on the exam table as though they were having a pap smear.
A digital pelvic exam is performed by the physician followed by a speculum exam at which time the area to be injected is identified and measured.
A small amount of local anaesthetic is injected followed by the hyaluronic gel injection. The injection itself takes no more than a few minutes.
No recovery time is needed and sexual activity may be resumed after four hours. Although results may vary, effects typically last 5 months or more.
