How it Works

A beam of highly concentrated laser light is directed at the desired area where it pulses for a fraction of a second. The beam vaporizes the pigment found in hair follicles, disabling a number of the follicles with each pulse. The procedure stops, or severely impedes the growth of hair.

What to Expect

The procedure can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area being treated. A slight tingling sensation may be felt and a small amount of redness or swelling can result but quickly disappears. A light anaesthetic may be required for sensitive areas. Most clients will require four to six treatments to completely disable hair follicles.
