Safe for all skin types, the Vitalize Peel® is a clinically proven, effective and gentle formulation that smoothes and corrects age spots, fine lines and wrinkles as well as acne. After just one peel you will notice improvement in your skin's texture and tone, lessining of fine lines and a healthier, more youthful appearance. Dramatic results can be achieved with a series of peels.
For best results, it is advisable to avoid sun exposure and the following products and procedures at least one week prior to your treatment: • Electrolysis • Waxing • Depilatory creams • Laser hair removal. Use of the following products should be avoided 2 - 3 days prior to your Vitalize Peel®: • Any exfoliating products • Any products that may be drying or irritating, including products containing salicylic acid, AHAs (including glycolic acids) and products containing Vitamin A or retinol. Shaving of the area to be peeled should be avoided on the day of the treatment.

IS THIS TYPE OF PROCEDURE SAFE?
When performed by an experienced and qualified physician or esthetician under a physician's supervision, the Vitalize Peel® is a safe procedure. Be sure to talk with your medical skin care professional prior to your peel and always disclose your full medical history. Always follow your medical professional's advice for before and after procedures.
WHO IS NOT A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A VITALIZE PEEL®?
Patients who should avoid the Vitalize Peel® include:
- Patients with a history of allergies, rashes or other skin reactions or anyone with an allergy to salicylates (i.e. ASPIRIN®)
- Patients who have taken Accutane® within the past year, or received chemotherapy or radiation therapy
- Pregnant or breastfeeding (lactating) women
- Patients under the age of 12
